Gregory D. Peterson

Mr. Gregory D. Peterson is the president and owner of Peterson Engineering. Prior to forming Peterson Engineering, Inc., Mr. Gregory Peterson was the President of Energy Engineers, Inc.  PEI provided energy auditing and sales and installation of energy management controls to optimize energy use and improve energy efficiency over the entire life-cycle for its clients.  He has served on the Florida Engineering Society’s State Energy Committee and the local ASHRAE Energy Committee.  He is a certified Florida State Energy Auditor.

Earl Wynn, P.E.

Mr. Earl Wynn has extensive experience in lighting, power, communication, fire detection, surge suppression, fiber optic, security systems and energy efficient operation designs for numerous institutional, commercial and military facilities.  Acted as project engineer for several Open-End Contracts for the Corps of Engineers, Air Force, and Navy.  Also service as project engineer in study and design of primary high voltage distribution system at Bases for all branches of the Military.  Responsible for electrical design on hundreds of new schools, school additions and renovations in Escambia, Santa Rosa and Walton Counties.  Also, has many years of experience in lightning protection and suppression design in all types of institutional, military and private sector applications.

Steven C. Johnson, PE, LEED AP BD+C

Mr. Johnson has been with Peterson Engineering, Inc. for 10 years and has 21 years of experience. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida. His mechanical engineering experience is primarily in HVAC, fire protection and plumbing design. He is also a Certified Firestop Inspector and Certified Level I Thermographer. He is LEED Accredited and has managed several LEED projects complete through the certification process. He does work for the DOD as well as the private sector. He specializes in design, cost estimating, project management and construction administration.

Benjamin T. Womble, P.E., CxA

Mr. Benjamin T. Womble is a mechanical engineer who has been working in the field for over 34 years and has been with Peterson Engineering Inc for 22 years.  He graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with special studies in noise and vibration control, H.V.A.C., and cryogenics. He is an Infrared Training Center Level II certified Thermographer and is a AABC Commissioning Group Certified Commissioning Authority. Mr. Womble has a Florida Board of Professional Engineers Department of Professional Regulation number. He has worked on H.V.A.C. design, DX, Special Ventilation for labs, isolation rooms, process rooms, system testing and evaluation, plumbing, water treatment, and machine design.
